A Better Tomorrow

A group of young adults in southern Lebanon share some down time with kids they are counseling at a summer camp in the town of Jezzine. Working with the Development of People and Nature Association these volunteers formed the backbone of CRS’ relief and rehabilitation efforts after the conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah militia. Since much of their own childhoods were disturbed by conflict they say the key is not to leave Lebanon but to work toward peace for the next generation. Photo by David Snyder for CRS.
