CRS Communications Coordinator Jennifer Hardy is traveling with winners of the 2008 Egan Award for Journalistic Excellence . They are seeing the Church’s work with Iraqi refugees in Lebanon and Syria.

On Sunday the Egan Award winners visited CRS partner Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) in southern Lebanon. CRS and DPNA’s partnership began with relief efforts during and after the war in 2006, but have now grown to include community building endeavors such as creating free public gardens and microenterprise initiatives.
