Colombia Reels from Record Flooding

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Colombia as they experience the effects of what the government there has called the worst natural disaster in the country’s history.

Flooding has reportedly killed more than 200 people and displaced approximately 2 million more. Mudslides and other flood related damage have further complicated disruptions caused by the floods, which are blamed on La Niña weather patterns.

Catholic Relief Services is coordinating support with our partner Caritas Colombia.
