We’re a Quarter of the Way There: Catholics Confront Global Poverty Reaches 250,000 Catholics

Since our launch in February 2009, we’ve reached more than a quarter of a million people through Catholics Confront Global Poverty. Together we have mobilized our family, friends, schools, parishes, colleges, dioceses and religious communities to learn about and share the stories of people struggling to rise above extreme poverty, to pray for the poorest members of our human family and to advocate with policy makers in support of poor people worldwide.

Read the press release about our success on the USCCB or CRS websites.

  1. Global Poverty Says:

It’s great to see everyone is starting to proactively address the issues of global poverty. It’s time that we help assist individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves. It’s time for change and I can see that change is well underway.

Looking forward to seeing what your organization will be able to do as it pertains to Global Poverty.
