Reader Question: Seeking Meaningful Work

Jennifer Rouyer: How did you get interested in doing this work with the poor?

I evolved as a human being. Previously I worked in private industry doing technology consulting. Although it was intellectually challenging, in the end it was meaningless to me. I wanted and needed to do something with more meaning, and I felt a pull or calling to work with the poor. I have now been working for CRS for the past 15 years.
