Haiti Quake: Dog Food Protects Group Under Collapsed Roof

Another amazing story out of Port au Prince:

Magalie Rigaud, a CRS logistics officer, was trapped with her two children in a market in Port-au-Prince. She was in the pet food section and bags of dog food fell and prevented the collapsed roof from caving in on them. Two men were trapped with her. They shared tic-tacs, prayed the 23rd psalm. The men were convinced that they were going to die, and she repeated that the fact that they were trapped meant that they were going to live because they’d been spared for a reason. She’s now back at work.
