With longtime president Ken Hackett’s announcement that he would retire in 2011, CRS began the process of seeking a new president and CEO to continue its mission and promote the values and commitment of the Bishops of the United States. As part of the universal mission of the Catholic Church, CRS works with local, national and international Catholic institutions and structures, as well as other organizations, to assist people on the basis of need, not creed, race, or nationality.
On March 21 the job description for the position was announced. See the full position specification here.
